  19. “And these signs will accompany those who believe…and they will place their hands on sick people, and they will get well” (Mark 17)
Heavenly Father how we thank you for your promises God! You have promised that whoever believes in you shall perform these miracles in your name! Those that are with Ezra will lay their hands on him and the whole world will watch as your baby becomes well by your favor and mercy! We believe that you have baby Ezra in your arms this very minute God and that your mighty hand is in control at all times! Thank you Jesus for your love and for taking the fear and worry from our friends in Christ, the Matthews family. We bow to you Lord and we thank you even in a time of trouble for you are God! Amen

  20. Wow. As a parent, I cannot even imagine, the struggle and pain you all are going through. I won’t even try. I lost my mother at 18 to cancer. I know that battle well. But to be fighting for my childs life? More than I can imagine. Praying for you to find peace.

  21. beautiful. heartbreaking.

Robyn, I can see God’s quiet strength in you, so be encouraged that He is holding you and Kyle up, even if you don’t feel it right now.

I am praying for Ezra, for you both and for your marriage, for Charley. May God’s love surround you all.

  22. Hi Robyn, You don’t know me but a dear friend of mine who just lost her daughter to GBM brain cancer told us about your sweet Ezra. I wanted to tell you that our family will be lifting you all up in prayer. We will be praying for Ezra, and praying for a miracle. May the Lord continue to wrap His Loving and Strong around each of you.
    Rest in His Perfect Peace,
    Angel

  23. My heart is broken for Ezra and for you both. I would give anything I have to make him better and since it seems that praying is my only option, i will do that constantly. He is an amazing, unforgettable little boy, what a blessing his life is.

  24. We never understand why such things happen to precious innocent children like Ezra, but what we do know is God has chosen your family to be a light through Ezra and that is exactly what you are being in the midst of such a trial. A light to so many you are. You are touching lives and bringing many to Christ that may not have known him otherwise. God is sooo Good and my family is in constant prayer for your precious family. I pray you get that miracle that we are all hoping for and soon! Stay strong. Much love to you!

  25. I can’t find words adequate enough to express my compassion for Ezra and you as a whole family. A long time ago, a special friend taught me that we must “praying believingly” — that God will answer with a miracle. And, that is how I am praying for Ezra…

He is so incredibly beautiful. His whole little being emanates joy and strength! What a blessing he is and will be…

The Lord be with you and may His grace continue to be your source of hope and strength…for this journey and always.

How awesome that we serve a mighty, living, loving and merciful God!

Thank you for sharing in His glory through your faith and perseverance in the life of Ezra!

    Love & God bless, Lillian
    Jude 1:24-26

  26. Like so many others my heart has broken reading what your family has had to endure. What keeps me hopeful is reading and understanding your unwaivering faith in God. God is good. May he hold you in the palms of his hand and heal beautiful Ezra!! I will continue to pray for Ezra and all of your family every day!!!

  27. your baby stays in my prayers everyday. it seems lately he is all i think about, and pray about. i know in my heart that he is a fighter and he will beat this. Lord please watch over and protect this baby, give him the strength he needs to beat this and give the family the strength they need to help him. Please Lord, let this baby get better day by day, AMEN.

  28. I am fasting and praying today. I believe the Almight God is working. I’m praying for a miracle for Ezra, for hisplt level to begin to come up and stay up and for the tumors to begin shrinking and that he is restored new again. As I pray for him I lay my hand on his pictures on my computer screen since I am not there to lay hands on him. I believe God is lining up the greatest miracle ever! I can’t wait to see it happen! I feel as though your family has become a part of ours and in Christ we all ARE family. I wish we still lived in Tampa and were at GFC. I would love to have been able to know you like Kim and Larry do. Kim speaks very highly of you guys. I will continue to fast and pray as much as I can. God continue to rain down your mercies on this family, continue your healing miracle, breathe life in to Ezra and take away the illness that is in him. We know of your miracles, have read about them in your word, and many have witnessed them first hand. Please perform a miracle now with Ezra. Thank you Lord…Thank you. Amen!

  29. Dear Matthews Family,
I want you to know that I am praying for you. I’m praying for stregnth for the fight, courage to face the unknown and comfort for your spirit. Ezra is in the hands of the Lord. I beleive that the magnitiude of our struggles on earth equal the magnitude of blessing in heaven. May God bestow the gifts of the spirit upon you – love, joy, peace patience and understanding. Thank you for sharing your story.

  30. Kyle and Robin, you two are amazing. As a mother of two girls, my heart just breaks. I watch you Kyle on stage during Saturday night services, and you appear so strong and passionate as you sing and praise God. I am praying for Ezra for that miracle from our Lord. I can’t imagine the emotions you and your family are going through, but please know that many of us on pulling for Ezra. I check for your updates multiple times during the day. Spend as much time together and we will all keep praying. God Bless.

  31. Words cannot express how heavy my heart is for your son, and for your family. My daughter is your sons age and I just can`t imagine, I just sit here and cry out to God for His Spirit to comfort Ezra`s body, to give him peace, and to surround your family with a heavy presence. What a beautiful and perfect little boy God has given to you and Ezra is such a sweet sweet boy, what a special person he must be for God to have called him to such a hardship of a journey that not just any child could endure. It was always those who suffered much in the Bible who became the most outstanding, and in his little life so far look at how many Ezra has brought before the throne of Grace, as has you and your wife and all you have been through.
I am from the east coast of Canada, and have sent a prayer chain out to churches and individuals straight across my country. Know that Ezra and your family are being lifted up today by so many people all over the world I`m sure.
With my whole heart I am broken for your family before God.

  32. I wanted to add that my 2 year old daughter came over to the screen to watch the video and then said `Emma pray for him!` I said `You want to pray for the little boy right now` and she said yes- normally I lead her in prayer but for the first time in her life she stood up and with boldness like I have never seen from her shy self she pointed and raised her voice and said `JESUS HELP HIM!`and then got close to the screen as to hug the laptop and said quietly again `Pease Jesus help him`
What you have to know is she also speaks sign language- yet she never repeats her signs, and as she was saying what she did she kept signing `please`. Even the children are asking on your behalf.

  33. We pray for your family and your precious boy. I can’t even imagine what you are and have already gone through. May God grant the miracle he so desperately needs. He is a brave, sweet little soul!

  34. Gunard and I want to wish the very best for EZRA, and so much support for your family…. Our Prays are with you all…

  35. Hi Robyn … you don’t know me, but someone posted your site on FB and I just watched the video. I know Ezra is really young, but have you read the book, “World without Cancer” that talks about the use of Laetrile (vitamin B17) to treat cancer? It may not be available in the US, but we have friends who have used it successfully to treat cancer. We’ll be praying for all of you!

  36. Everyone here at the Layla Grace Children’s Cancer Research foundation is praying for Ezra and the rest of your family. We have shared your story on our Facebook wall and have asked everyone who reads to pray for you as well. Keep fighting, Ezra!!

  37. I only read a few words of your story before the tears began. Having young children of my own, I truly understand the trauma of fighting with every cell of your body for your child’s life. There is nothing I can say to ease your pain, but please know there are people all over the world praying for you and Ezra. God bless you all.

  38. praying and fasting along with so many others…..for God’s miracle!! Ezra is an amazingly beautiful little boy….thank u for the video!! 🙂 nicole

  40. Robyn and Kyle, you two are amazing…keep strong in your faith and love for one another!! I am continuing to pray for your precious lil boy that a MIRACLE will happen! Prayers and positive thoughts to your family.

  41. We continue to pray for a miracle for Ezra. Our thoughts are filled with hope and prayers for your family. Reading your updates, so beautifully written, and seeing Robyn speak so gracefully and full of strength on your video, is a beautiful witness of faith in our Heavenly Father. We thank you for sharing your story. We are praying for you constantly, and we will continue to do so until your precious son Ezra is healed by Our Father God. You are on our minds and in our hearts always.

  42. I just came across your family tonight, by way of Facebook and the Layla Grace Foundation. Reading your story, one wonders how much a single family can endure. The love you both have for your children is amazing, and this ordeal has obviously given you strength you never knew you had (or wanted to have, I’m sure). May God bring your family peace…and hope. May his healing hands embrace Ezra and Charley, and heal your hearts as well. I will continue to pray for a miracle for beautiful Ezra. No child should have to endure the pain and suffering he has endured.

  43. Phil and I went to school with Kyle…my heart aches for your family today. Lifting you up in prayer for that sweet boy of yours and your hearts as you walk closer to our Father through this trial. Wish I had more words that would take away pain, but there are none, I know. Love to you three.
Your brother and sister in Christ.

  44. You are all in my prayers. I pray, hope & believe that God will give you the miracle your all looking for. God bless all of you.

  45. We are praying…and fasting tomorrow for a miracle. God is able and no matter what, He is faithful. I have no words, heart broken for you in the road you are walking and praying for grace, wisdom and overwhelming peace for you and sweet Ezra.

  46. You are such a beautiful, beautiful family. Your video and story has brought me to tears. You are constantly in my heart and prayers.
    Love, Dawn

  47. Your family is constantly in our thoughts and constantly in our prayers. You have forever touched us with your unwaivering faith. God bless you, your wife, and your precious Ezra and Charley.

  48. Robyn and Kyle, I am praying for you both tonight. Your genuine truth, fear, pain, humbleness, doubt, faith, and courage place me on my knees in awe. I am a Children’s Pastor in the Tampa Bay area and friends of yours past Ezra’s story onto me … I am also a Mom that has experienced loss of pregnancies (14 and 17 week losses), prematurity (31 and 34 weekers), and cancer (Aggressive Malignant Melanoma) all before the age of 34. I tell you this to let you know that in that fear, anger, and pain … joy does come in the morning. Listen to Stephen Curtis Champman’s song about the fear and sorrow in dealing with such pain over the last few years. It is called Beauty Will Rise … I will pray often for you and Kyle, and for a miracle in Ezra’s life to make him strong and well again. God is BIGGER thank even this! Love to you all.

  49. Kyle and Robin,
Because of my daughter Aubrey, I have been following your story. I am so very sorry for your loss with Price and have hopeful thoughts for Charlie. Kyle, I used to babysit you…I cannot imagine your pain and suffering, nor can I imagine your wife’s either. I pray (and I am not religious) that your family makes it thru all of this. My heart and soul goes out to Ezra, you, and Robin. God Bless and watch over you all.
    Beth

  50. My thoughts and prayers are with you. I hope you know that Ezra’s story has touched people around the world and that if he could be cured by the hopes and prayers of many, then it would certainly be done. With love and best wishes from Lynda (South Africa)

  51. We continue to constantly raise Ezra up in prayer. Our hearts and minds are on you and your family throughout the day and night.

  52. I am praying for Ezra and your family. I can’t even imagine what you are going through. I hope the Lord gives you the strength to go each day and pray that Ezra receives his miracle! Children are God’s little miracle.

  53. We will keep Ezra in our thoughts and prayers. That a miracle will happen for him and your family.

    The Wallace Family (North Carolina)

  54. Thank you for sharing the video of your fight. You are so incredibly brave and strong. Ezra is lucky to have such devoted and loving parents. Your family is constantly in my thoughts…

  55. WE’re rallying behind you, sweet Ezra. We love you here in Ohio and are praying without ceasing. Continue to hold fast, buddy. Fight, fight, fight with all you have and know that the Lord is with you and very near to your every need.

  56. Good morning Kyle and Robyn, not sure if you hear about this Dr. in Houston, Texas or not. He is currently treating one of the ladies niece’s at GFC for Cancer. I just spoke with Christina Rios at their clinic her direct line is 713 335 5639, the drs. name is Stanislaw R. Burzynski. She mentioned they treat patients with Neuroblastoma. Praying that this will be helpful to you! God bless, Vivian

  57. Robyn, Kyle, Ezra, Charley. More love and prayers are being cried out to Our Merciful God for Ezra’s Healing. We have not stopped praying nor will we stop! We pray that you are all filled with His Holy Spirit and Blessed with a peace only He can bring.
I am part of The GFC Mops Army that will be FASTING & PRAYING this weekend for Ezra’s COMPLETE HEALING. My family will be fasting and praying as well. This will be the first time we have ever fasted and are honored to sacrifice such little things in the name of your precious son… We will be praying with all that we are that God will answer with a miracle for Ezra. Who is so incredibly amazing. He is so full of love, joy and strength! What a blessing! May the Lord continue to be with you all. We serve and love an awesome God who is also a mighty, living, loving and merciful God!

    Love & God’s Blessings,
    James & Jennifer
